Running Dangerously: The Polar Edition

Note:Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of international air space the event has been postponed. Jordan will return to his polar running challenge in December by heading to Antarctica, however in the meantime he has come up with a new challenge in his mission to inspire young people around the world using the spirit of adventure in his role as the UK’s national ambassador for Army Cadets with The Great British Paddle. In 2020, Jordan will be once again ‘Running Dangerously’ which will almost certainly be one of his toughest challenges to date. This time he will be heading towards a very different set of dangers in some of the most remote, coldest and extreme locations on the planet! We are delighted to announce, “Running Dangerously; The Polar Edition 2020.

Jordan will be flying the Eton Harris flag at both the North and South Pole and will run a marathon at the “ends of the earth” at geographic north and south. The challenges will be very different than what Jordan has ever faced previously as this time he will be dealing with polar bears, extreme sub zero temperatures and running on ice bergs to name just a few, not to mention the monstrous logistical mission of actually getting there. Very few people have been to the planets extremities (never mind attempted to run a marathon there), in-fact more people have summited Mount Everest than have even been to the polar regions!

Jordan hopes to continue building on his incredible fundraising efforts by running the coldest and most remote marathon the world has ever seen and we are behind him every step of the way!
