Charitable Adventurer

Jordan lives by the mantra, that every day is a chance to change your life, encouraging those he meets to push the boundaries of their capabilities as far as possible and to be fearless in pursuit of their dreams.

'Be The Difference That Makes A Difference'

Jordan Wylie is a former soldier, bestselling author, extreme adventurer and also one of the stars of Channel 4’s BAFTA nominated shows Hunted and Celebrity Hunted.

In 2019, Jordan signed an exclusive partnership agreement with the Eton Harris Group, a global specialist in bespoke funding solutions to the international alternative investment community.

Growing up on the largest council estate in the UK, Jordan left school early with no qualifications to his name but took the life-changing decision to join the British Army at 16 years old. He served for ten years and saw Operational Service in Northern Ireland and Iraq where he specialised in military intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance operations.

On leaving the Army, Jordan entered the world of Maritime Security, making headlines after armed Somali pirates boarded a ship that he was protecting and Jordan found himself in charge and forced to make critical decisions for the safety of his crew. It was this experience that led Jordan to write “Citadel: The True Story of One Man’s War Against the Pirates of Somalia”, which became a bestseller on publication in 2017.

Jordan has since gone on to successfully complete numerous major charity expeditions, including the highly publicised Running Dangerously, which saw him run through Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia, and Barefoot Warrior which involved climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, completely barefoot! He has raised over a million pounds for charity and some of his expeditions have been made into documentaries on Sky TV. Since his time in the military, Jordan has battled with severe depression, chronic anxiety and epilepsy, and now campaigns to remove the stigma from people suffering from mental illness.

In recent years, Jordan has also returned to education, proving it doesn’t matter where you start in life, there is always the opportunity to assert yourself and try again, he now holds a BA (Hons) and MA in the field of Security and Risk Management where he is an industry thought leader and commentator in the mainstream media with regular appearances on Sky News and the BBC.

Combining adventure and challenge with the belief that anything is truly possible, Jordan and the Eton Harris team deliver world class expeditions that impact and influence global change with the aim of improving the lives of those less fortunate.

Forming an exclusive partnership with Eton Harris has allowed me to continue my charitable adventures with a purpose around the world. To be working with a world leading organisation who values and vision are completely aligned with my own is not only a great honour but also a real privilege too.

Having now raised over £1 million for charity, with a focus on inspiring hope and changing the lives of children, many of which have been affected by war and conflict around the world is very important to both myself and the team at Eton Harris.

This special relationship will see both parties work together to continue to help and provide opportunities to those who need it most. It is my aim to fly the Eton Harris flag on my adventures and expeditions, as I continue to push the boundaries of human endurance in some of the most extreme and complex environments on the planet. I can’t wait to announce our 2020 expedition, these are very exciting times.
